Never Give Up!

The other morning I was heading out the front door and this is what I saw on the front porch.

Spiders…most people say ick….actually I don’t care either way.  I would prefer to not find the big ones in my house, but otherwise I leave them alone.

I was impressed with the initiative this spider took to grab this huge moth.  I’m not sure whether she was planning on eating it herself.  I wouldn’t think she would take so much effort to move it across the deck like she was doing if she didn’t have another purpose for it.

So I was flashing back to those old National Geographic shows where they show you how the female spider finds a big something to eat and leaves it by her sac of eggs so when the babies hatch they have breakfast.

But Charlotte, or whoever you are, you took this challenge head on!  You didn’t let the size of the situation slow you down.  You knew what you wanted and you went for it.  Good for you!  I’m sure there is a little life lesson in there…like maybe Never Give Up!
