Life in a Northern Town!

image

Football.  Varsity foorball, JV football, Freshman football….it’s what my life revolves around these days. It’s actually not so bad.  The first month is nice and warm. Beautiful starry evenings, pretty sunsets, balmy weather.

It’s also fun because I know some of the kids playing. Kids of friends, classmates of my girls, and siblings of my students, so I feel like I’m rooting for someone I know, not strangers hundreds or thousands of miles away.  Anything beats yelling at a tv and waiting through commercial breaks.

Now if I could just figure out how to bring my couch and woodstove with me. The night games are now, dark, cold and wet!! Brrrrr…my bottom is wet…even through this stadium seat!

Anybody have some hot chocolate handy?
